I have joined myself with Anti Female Foeticide Expedition since 2001 census. After the census 2001 when the date of male-female ratio came to me. I was really surprised and look it seriously. After this I made a plan for the registration of dath & birth of a child and to stop female foeticide. Fast of all I started awareness rally about “Beti Bachao and Skite” round the corner of the city. This expedition was started in the year 2001. After some time I started to convey the message regarding “ Beti Bachao Programme” through dramatic approach with the help of my doughter. Who was just five years old at that time. During the period from 2001 to 2004 there was renaissance in Bhiwani district for “Beti Bachao Expedition” and many persons started joining this Expedition due to the campaign made through media and news papers. Then D.C. Shri Sunil Gulati, Shrikant Walgad, Mahender Kumar, T.L. Satayaprakash and the present D.C. Vikas Gupta fully supported me and that’s why I got success in taking the flame of “Beti Bachao Expedition” to the common man. There were many ups and douns during this programme but I continued my efforts with a centralized aim and got success in bringing together the people of villages, schools, colleges, religious organization, grampanchayats, youth clubs even the saints and administrators and made a team of youths and ladies at the village level that helped me a lot in conveying the message to everyman regarding “Beti Bachao”
During “Beti Bachao Expedition” the holy copper vessel , offered by the founder of ‘The Art Of Living’ Sri Sri Ravishankar Ji proved a milestone in stopping female foeticide and I went throughout Haryana state including Bhiwani Distt. At different festivals, functions and organization and made determined over five lakh people to save daughter by making them pour the holy water of the gangas in that pious vessel. Thousands of people deliberately supported the Anti Female foeticide Expedition. Not only this many national and international bodies supported this programme. Taking this pious vessel we gave birth to a new beginning to new a social revolution and it was the Eight Phera at the ‘Marriage Mandap’. As per the hindu Rituals and Customs there are only ‘seven pheras’ but on January 31,2007 we started ‘Eigth Phera’ as the symbol of ‘Eighth Promise’ to stop female foeticide. It was greathy praised at the International level and there was a documentary film also made by a T.V. channel in france .
The ‘Eigth Phera’ movement started from Bhiwani was accepted all over the Haryana state formally it was inaugurated at New Delhi where a Newly married couple was made to experience ‘Eigth Phera’. There was a Programme also telecaste by Pragya T.V. channels regarding Beti Bachao. Smt.Renuka Chaudhary, Honorable Minister for the development of Women and Children, Govt. of India, also favoured me and declared that the ‘Eigth Phera’ will prove a mile stone in stopping the female foeticide today thousand of people have directly linked with me to my new movement ‘Beti Bachao Vansh Bachao’ and there is a new youth brigade who has come forward to stop female foeticide and as a result the shout of ‘Beti Bachao’ movement can be heard anywhere whether it is any cultural programme, marriage ceremony or any social revolution. The Govt. of Haryana also like it and appreciated the Social effort of male-female ratio and Bhiwani District Got the first prize.
More than one country ago the founder of international Red Cross Sir Jean Henry Duna Dreant of human welfare and we are working very hard to realize that dream. We are bringing forward the mission of Red Cross through the femaile Foeticide Expedition so that it may be true such homaze to the Founder man of Red Cross. ‘Beti Bachao’ has become the main motto of Red Cross present and we want spread it to the common people with New enthusiasm But to achieve this we nead to help a person who is quite determined to Save a Child that can become any saint, scientist and will give a new direction to the World. For ‘Beti Bachao’ campaign we followed the foot steps of the Father of our nation Mahatma Gandhi and made the people realize that ‘Female foeticide’ is really a stigma on our society and it should be eradicated any how during this compaign our motto was not only to change the person but also their altitude and we got great support. Now the Birth of a Female child is considered a festivel and these things have taken the shape of a social revolution now. Now there is no longer any difference between the birth of a male child and a female child. On the birth of a Girl also celebrations are made like Kuan Pujan, Beating of thali as on the birth of a son It shows that girls are no less than the boys. In this revolution start we have started to in still the basic instincts among the youth that they should come forward for marriage without dowry. These youths are taking an oath to Save the Girls and giving hand in hand with this revolution. The need of the hour is that maximum number of people should come forward to keep the flame of ‘Beti Bachao’ ignited and spread it in the society to save that female child is checking a shape in the womb and will be either mother, sister, grand mother or a wife. Further she will give to such saints will acts inspiration for the welfare of the human creation.
